1. Information We Collect
Account information: Email address, name or nickname, age, gender, and relationship status — provided during onboarding.
Profile information: Username and display name chosen during setup.
Usage data: Affirmation preferences, themes, daily check-in times, and goals you set in onboarding.
Partner data: Your partner's username when you connect accounts.
Messages: Affirmations and messages exchanged with your partner.
Subscription data: Purchase records for your Flayme subscription (processed by Apple; we store confirmation only).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to: operate and personalise the App; generate AI affirmation suggestions tailored to your relationship; display shared streaks and milestones; send daily reminder notifications (at the time you choose); and respond to support requests.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not use your personal messages for advertising.
3. AI Affirmation Suggestions
To generate personalised suggestions, anonymised preference data (such as affirmation style and relationship themes) may be sent to an AI provider. Raw personal messages or identifiable information are not shared with AI services.
4. Third-Party Services
Supabase: We use Supabase for database hosting and authentication. Your data is stored on Supabase infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
Google Sign-In: If you sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication. See policies.google.com/privacy.
Apple: Apple processes In-App Purchase transactions and, if you use Sign in with Apple, your authentication. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
5. Notifications
We use local notifications on your device to send daily affirmation reminders. Notification permission is requested during onboarding. You can change or disable notifications at any time through iOS Settings.
6. Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, messages, streaks, partner connections, and subscription records — is permanently deleted within 30 days.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and all associated data (via Settings → Delete Account); and withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

8. Children's Privacy
Flayme is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us at flaymeapp@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.
9. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (TLS) and secure credential storage. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the App. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
